Dongwe Blue Lagoon is a popular snorkeling and swimming area on the southeast coast of Zanzibar. It is known for its clear turquoise water, shallow coral reefs, tropical fish, starfish, beautiful sandbank and calm lagoon conditions that make it accessible even for beginners.
Salaam Cave is a natural limestone cave and swimming attraction located in Kizimkazi, on the southern coast of Zanzibar. It is best known for its crystal clear water and sea turtles in a cave like lagoon.
A wonderful combination of the two activities that brings you the easiest and most rewarding half-day snorkeling trips on the island.
The adventure start from your Hotel reception, we'll pick you up by 08:00 am heading to southern coast of Zanzibar. Starting with a spectacular natural coral limestone cave, a natural aquarium of turquoise tones, home to dozens of turtles. Get the opportunities to see and sometimes feed sea turtles also swimming inside the cave.
After this unforgettable moment, we'll continue heading to the famous Dongwe Blue Lagoon, a shallow reef areas suitable for snorkeling, Starfish sightings and occasional Sandbank if the sea tides allow.
Finally take photos at the iconic The Rock Restaurant. Nestled in a unique location in the middle of the Indian Ocean, this restaurant is one of the most photographed places in Zanzibar. You'll have also time to get delicious dishes that The Rock Restaurant offers if you will desire to lunch there.
