Our Short Safari Package covers the best wildlife experiences in Selous Game Reserve, south of Tanzania. The reserve covers a total area of 54,600 km2 and has additional buffer zones. It is one of the largest faunal reserves of the world. It's the most accessible national reserves that can be visited using Dar es Salaam as a starting point. It’s easily accessed by flying Safari charters, bush 4x4 land rovers and cruisers.
Selous Game Reserve is the best African adventure for budget and luxury safaris. If you want to escape the crowds, then head to the country’s less-visited, yet stunning and wildlife-rich Southern Circuit. The Selous was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 due to the diversity of its wildlife and undisturbed nature. Some of the typical animals of the savanna (are African Bush Elephants, Black Rhino, Hippo, Lions, Wild Dogs, Cheetahs, Cape Buffaloes, Giraffes and Nile crocodiles) can be found in this park in larger numbers than in any other African game reserve or national park.
