SAADANI NATIONAL PARK
Saadani National Park is 13th National Park of Tanzania. It is the only wildlife sanctuary in Tanzania bordering the sea, located on the Indian Ocean 45 kms north of Bagamoyo. Tourists can view animals basking along the Indian Ocean shores. It has an area of 1062 km2 and was officially gazetted in 2005, from a game reserve which had existed from 1969. Saadani is unique for its extraordinary diversity of scenery and wildlife. Beach, Bush and river have been thrown together in such a colorful clash of ecosystems; there is nothing to compare with it anywhere on the Eastern Coast of Africa. Saadani National Park contains indigenous species including Liechtenstein Hartebeest and the rare Roosevelt sable. Good populations of Elephant, Buffalo, hippo and crocodile, also Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Giraffe, Greater kudu, Red duckier and Reedbuck, Warthog, Waterbucks, Wildebeest & Zebra and also bird life is extensive.

Itineraries
BY CAR 4x4: (Dar es salaam): 4hrs from Dar es salaam (during dry season)
Pickup: From your Accommodation in Dar es salaam Time: 05.30hrs drive to Saadani National Park.
Arrival: 10:00hrs and starting a game drive until 13.00hrs when you will stop for lunch then proceed with game drive until 15.30hrs when you’ll drive back and drop you off at your Accommodation in Dar es salaam.
BY FLIGHT: (Zanzibar & Dar es salaam)
Pickup from your Hotel drive to the Airport where you will fly at 09.15hrs from Dar es salaam and fly at 09.45hrs from Zanzibar headed to Saadani National park and arrive at 10:00hrs and starting a morning game drive until 13.00hrs when you will stop for lunch then proceed with game drive until 15.30hrs when you’ll drive to Airstrip where you will fly by 15.15hrs to Dar es salaam/Zanzibar. After arriving at the Airport you will be drop off at your home or hotel in Dar es salaam/Zanzibar.
